Tracy Andrews
American 1968 -
A self-taught artist, Tracy Andrews began his love for art at
an early age, finding himself inspired by the works of Pablo Picasso,
Michelangelo and Salvador Dali. Primarily using oil on canvas, his works show
remarkable versatility, depicting landscapes, animals, abstracts and spiritual
themes. "For me," Andrews says, "art is the truest form of self-expression and
the medium through which I share my thoughts of life experiences from the past,
present and future." Some of Andrews' paintings are currently on exhibit
throughout the United States and available worldwide. Tracy created the original
work for Fleetwood's First Day Cover for the 1963 March on Washington stamp of
the 2005 Milestones in the Civil Rights Movement set.
